Who am I?

Hello!
My name is Cameron Schmitt, and I am a New York City based actor. My love of acting began when I was 4-years-old and participated in my very first community theatre production in a small town in Kentucky. From then on, my passion for acting and theatre only grew. At age 13, I decided that acting was the career I wanted to pursue. I had my wonderful parents' full support. We moved to Jacksonville, Florida so that I could attend a performing arts high school. From there, I pursued a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Acting at Florida State University. Now, I am in New York City pursuing the career of the working actor. I have acted in many productions ranging from Shakespeare to realism. I also directed an acclaimed production of The Pillowman in Jacksonville, FL. Since living in New York, I have starred in multiple acclaimed short films. I'm a film enthusiast, history nerd, and karaoke connoisseur. I love theatre, film, and acting in all its forms, and hope to share my passion with the world for the rest of my life. |
